S.Ramachandran by penname essarci is a writer in Tamil and English. He was born on 4 th march 1954 at Dharmanallur village vridhachalam taluk cuddalore district. He studied graduation at Annamalai University and post graduation at Madurai kamaraj university. He got his LLB from Yogi Vemana university Kadapa. He got Diploma in Labour law and Admn law, and post graduate diloma in Journalism and Mss Communication. He worked in BSNL and retired from Chennai Telephones in 2014.He lives in Chennai.
Sofar he authored 35 literay works out of which 2 are in English.
Awards and Recognitions
He got New centuary book house award , Thiruppur Tamil sangam award, SBI literary award for his novel ‘Kanavu Meippadum.’
He got Tamil nadu state Govt award and Salem Tharaiyaar award for his novel ‘ Neruppukku Ethu urakkam’.
He was honoured by NLC india Ltd for his contribution to Tamil lIterature.

His fiction ‘ Ethirvu’ prescribed for BLit at Thiruvalluvar University Vellore and B A , graduate course in Annamalai University.
